AegisYouth: one platform from report to prevention

Our own product, deployed in a secured environment with access restricted to selected institutions: a platform that connects citizens, schools, police, health services and public authorities — closing the loop from reporting harmful online content to measurable prevention.

< 60 sto report dangerous content — anonymously if needed
7role-based dashboards on one shared dataset
6institution types mapped into routing and permissions
5EU funding programmes the architecture is designed for
AegisYouth in 90 seconds: reporting for young people, fast routing to the right institutions, forecasting and risk quantification for analysts, and privacy by design (demo data).
The problem

Harm moves faster than institutions. Children and vulnerable people meet danger online — cyberbullying, grooming, radicalisation, drugs, gambling, fraud — long before any authority hears about it.

AegisYouth was built by MDigital Group as a coordination layer that Europe does not yet have: one trusted route to report harm, and shared situational awareness for the institutions that must act.

The platform is deployed and running in a secured, access-controlled environment. It is not open to the public: access is granted only to selected partner institutions.

Four structural failures

  • Reporting is broken — victims do not know who to contact, and platform report buttons vanish into automated queues
  • Institutions work in silos — police, schools, health services and municipalities each hold fragments of the same case
  • No early warning — trends in bullying, radicalisation, drugs, gambling and grooming are visible only after the damage is done
  • Prevention is fragmented — one-off campaigns, unmeasured and disconnected from real incident data

One platform, four functions

Report → Route → Analyse → Prevent: a closed loop where prevention is measured by the drop in reports it produces.

  1. 1

    Reporting engine

Any citizen reports in under 60 seconds, anonymously if needed — screenshot, link or in-app capture from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, online gambling sites and more. Evidence is hashed and timestamped; the reporter gets a case number and status updates.

  2. 2

    Classification & routing

Reports are categorised — cyberbullying, grooming, radicalisation and violent extremism, drugs, gambling, hate speech, self-harm, fraud — and routed by type and jurisdiction to local police, a school counsellor, a health service or a national cyber authority. Signs of radicalisation and extremist recruitment are flagged as high priority and routed to specialised police and prevention units. AI-assisted triage and a multilingual help agent guide children and seniors.

  3. 3

    Seven role-based dashboards

Citizen, police, school, health, municipality, region and administration — one dataset, strict permission boundaries. Police see case queues, evidence chains and cross-border flags; schools see class-level incidents and counsellor workflows; municipalities see local hotspots.

  4. 4

    Risk observatory

Every report becomes a data point: trend detection when a category spikes in a region or age group, hotspot mapping down to school or neighbourhood, cross-border signals, and automated quarterly reports for decision makers.

  5. 5

    Education & prevention hub

Six thematic tracks tied to incident data: online safety (grooming, extremist recruitment, sextortion, phishing, fake profiles), bullying and peer violence, addictions (drugs, alcohol, gambling, compulsive use), first aid, women’s safety, and family and community.

  6. 6

    Support layer

Help does not stop at the report: anonymous counselling, service navigation to the nearest social, legal or medical service, legal guidance, moderated peer communities, reintegration programmes and family support.

Built to plug into existing institutions

The platform does not replace authorities — it connects them.

01

Law enforcement

Case intake, evidence chain of custody, cross-border referral and escalation to prosecutors.

02

Schools

Prevention curriculum, incident reporting and counsellor caseload management.

03

Health authorities

Addiction and mental-health referral pathways, and anonymised epidemiological data.

04

Municipalities & regions

Community risk mapping, local programme planning and resource targeting.

Security & data protection

  • GDPR by designData minimisation, purpose limitation and documented retention schedules from day one.
  • Anonymous reportingA report can be filed with no identity attached and still reach the right authority.
  • Field-level access controlEvery field is permissioned — a school counsellor never sees police case notes.
  • Immutable audit log & evidence integrityEvery read and write is recorded; submissions are hashed and timestamped to hold up in legal processes.
  • EU data residencyHosted in the EU, with per-country residency for national deployments.

Status & roadmap

  • Deployed in a secured environment — not publicly accessible, with access granted to selected partner institutions
  • Presented at a prevention and youth education conference in Bucharest, with a Romanian pilot alongside police-union partners
  • Deployment in Serbia and Montenegro with partner police unions, and the first cross-border data exchange
  • Italian partnership and a Southern-Europe school programme
  • Presentation to EU institutions and a consolidated funding application across ESF+, EU4Health, CERV, AMIF and ISF
  • Expansion across the partner network — target 20+ countries, each deployment strengthening the shared observatory
